Awkwafina joined a host of celebrities for the Gold House 2nd Annual Gold Gala held on Saturday (May 6) in Los Angeles, California.
The only thing I like about Awkwafina’s look is the colour of her Saint Laurent Fall 2019 dress.
She’s not able to carry those puffy shoulders, and the dress appears a size too big for her.
And then we get to the styling.
I guess you could argue that the bandeau makes sense because of the deep plunge, but this would’ve been less of a concern in the right size.
Had ‘The Little Mermaid’ actress opted for a belt I also feel that the bandeau wouldn’t have been needed.
While I don’t love platforms or myself, I understand their allure.
However, these Jimmy Choo Gian platforms are too heavy for this look.
I could’ve overlooked the fit for better shoes and a belt.
