Since 2008, she’s been sharing her style with fans, proving she looks just as amazing in Gap as she does in Louis Vuitton.
This high-low style is why Marshalls tapped her to help the company unveil The Edit by Marshalls. The report shared all the latest summer trends, including Living Life Out Loud, Opposites Attract, Outdoor Oasis, Vacation, All I Ever Wanted and Pattern Play, as well as how to shop the retailer to get the looks for way less. STYLECASTER stopped by the Marshalls’ event in Los Angeles to get the scoop from Song and find out what she’s wearing this summer.

What Items She Splurges On & Where She Saves
The fashion blogger and designer (her brand, Song of Style, is available at Revolve) knows how to find the deals. “I always love to like splurge on timeless pieces, like a really good oversized blazer that I know I’m gonna wear forever, a really good handbags, shoes or even trousers,” she says. “And then I like to save on pieces that are more trendy.”
What She Looks for At Marshalls
“I saw so many incredible sunglasses and handbags,” Song says of a recent Marshalls trip. “I think they have such a great denim selection. Sometimes it’s hard for people to shop for denim and they have so many different kinds of brands and styles.”
How Being a Mom Changed Her Style
Song is a new mom and revealed her style has changed a bit after her son Teo was born. “Before having a baby, I wore so much color, I showed so much skin,” she says. “But being a new mom with my postpartum body, I’m gravitating towards things a little bit more comfortable.” But don’t worry — she’s still a cool mom. “What I’m really into this summer is cut-outs,” she continues. “I’m also very much into loose silhouettes. So instead of something super tight or super short, I just love like an oversized pant, high waisted with maybe a band tee.” She loves a comfortable ‘fit that feels “elegant but also effortless” and can easily be packed in a suitcase on a last minute-trip.
Athleisure Is a Part of Her Style
Tennis skirts have been trending for a few seasons and aren’t going anywhere. Song is an avid tennis player so she wears them on and off the court. “[Marshalls] has so many cute tennis pieces,” she says. “Before, my tennis outfit was just leggings or a white skirt. But now there are so many like different colors, which makes it so fun.”
