Andrew Garfield had a very impressive Awards Season.
As I said in my roundup, he kept the same energy which his stylist Warren Alfie Baker said was “an ode to ’70s British style.”
If I am selecting based on what immediately catches my eye, I’ll of course pick the Valentino look from the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
But if I’m selecting based on all things considered, the all-black Saint Laurent look from the Costume Designers Guild Awards is my favourite.
The tailoring of this look, along with the sleekness speaks the loudest to me.
