We’ve had velvet and black, so I’m sure you’re longing for some summer gowns on the red carpet for the 2023 Tony Awards, and Jessica Chastain was just the woman to deliver.
Especially considering the bold hues she was serving in the lead up to this event.
The actress wore a custom Gucci strapless gown in three shades of yellow.
Yellow can easily make someone with red hair appear washed out, so that’s why it’s important to pick the right shades for your skin tone.
It’s usually recommended that darker more orange-toned yellows like mustard, marigold, and butterscotch work better, so that might explain the trio of shades, so all bases are covered.
What I love most about this gown – aside from the fact that it fits to perfection – is the gentle embellishments that cascade down the center, the divine cape, and I’m surprised by how much I like the Gucci necklace.
This might be because I thought it was part of the dress at first, but it adds to the glamorous appeal for me.
