Just when I thought Gal Gadot had turned her back on a colour other than black for good, the actress stepped onto the red carpet for the ‘Barbie’ world premiere on Sunday (July 9), wearing a brown and white striped dress from JW Anderson’s Spring 2024 collection.
The dress, which was originally presented during the menswear show, also rips up Gal’s minimalist playbook, as it features an intriguing asymmetric folded hem which gives it a sculptural finish, that fits the designer’s contemporary aesthetic.
I, for one, am excited to see Gal in this dress, as a ‘Barbie’ premiere should be about having fun with fashion and living your most fanciful life on the red carpet.
I have no doubt that she will be back to her Saint Laurent, Khaite, The Row minimalistic style after this event.
A white Aupen vegan leather Purpose bag, PVC mules and Tiffany & Co. Lock earrings with Lock rings completed her look.
