Last week, Emily Ratajkowski made headlines co-hosting the annual British Vogue X Self Portrait summer fête at Chiltern Firehouse. Naturally, she turned heads all night in a cut-out dress.
Now, back on her home turf in New York City, she was spotted carrying a souvenir from her time on British soil in the form of a Daunt Books tote—a favorite of Tube commuters everywhere. Of course, EmRata put her usual sexy spin on things in an outfit that consisted of a black tank top, blue denim cut-off Daisy Dukes worn with a black leather buckled belt, black wraparound shades and a white pair of Reebok trainers (another UK wardrobe essential).
When it comes to fashion, London’s vibrant culture can be celebrated in countless ways, from a floral printed scarf from Liberty to a classic beige Burberry trench. As an author, though, it makes sense that EmRata would go for something a little more, well, literary—or perhaps she’s just been influenced by fellow Manhattan It-girl Katie Holmes. The Dawson’s Creek alumna couldn’t be parted from her McNally Jackson tote, New York City’s closest equivalent of Daunt, last summer.
