England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was presented with the Kopa Trophy for the world’s best player aged under 21 at the 2023 Ballon d’Or Ceremony held at Theatre Du Chatelet on Monday (October 30) in Paris.
The 20-year-old footballer has enjoyed an incredible start to his career at Real Madrid, scoring 13 goals in his first 13 games since joining in the summer, however the Kopa Trophy recognises his performances last season, during which he scored 14 times in 42 games for Borussia Dortmund.
Having attended the Pharrell Williams debut collection for Louis Vuitton earlier this summer, I wasn’t surprised to see him wearing a custom Louis Vuitton suit, however, I did expect him to be wearing the Damoflage print, but that honour went to the man of the night, Lionel Messi.
It’s kind of hard to stand out at a black tie event, but between the cut of the Louis Vuitton double-breasted blazer accented with pearl buttons and the over wide (yes, I just learned this phrase today) trousers, Jude managed to do just that.
