Viola Davis made her first appearance on the promo tour for ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ when she stepped onto the red carpet for the LA premiere on Monday (November 13).
I was so excited to see Viola give us something different wearing an Oscar de la Renta cape-effect embellished mini dress which saw Dr. Volumnia Gaul hang with the kids.
I don’t ever recall seeing Viola wear a mini dress, but if there was an event where wearing one made sense, it was this premiere.
The demographic for this film will be younger than some of her other films, so I love how she leaned into that and was more playful with this look.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
