Björk made a return to the red carpet – for the first time in 10 years – for the Icelandic premiere for ‘The Northman’ on Thursday (April 14).
The singer, who came out of acting retirement for this film, appeared on the red carpet without her co-stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Alexander Skarsgård, and Nicole Kidman (who hasn’t hit the red carpet to promote this film as yet).
When it comes to the breastplate pieces from Loewe’s Spring 2022 collection it has been 3 (Zendaya, Lorde and Jeanne Cadieu) 0 for most of you, as you just can’t get on board with this look, whereas I have only really like Jeanne-Cadieu’s presentation of this piece.
I have a feeling that Björk’s red look will win you over, mostly because the breastplate is central, and if there was one person who had the authentic avant-garde sensibility to pull this off, it was always going to be Björk.
Styled with platforms and rainbow hued wig, it’s now 4 and 2 for me.
