18-year-old actress Calah Lane joined her cast-mates Olivia Colman and Timothée Chalamet for the ‘Wonka’ photocall held in Pottersfield Park on a miserably cold and wet day in London on Monday (November 27).
Thankfully she was a ray of sunshine wearing this hot-pink Thebe Magugu scarf pleated dress from the South African designers Fall 2023 collection.
I love how the label’s combined a unique, forward-thinking aesthetic and contemporary silhouette with avant-garde sensibilities yet, the overall feeling is whimsical.
That could be in part due to the colour, the magic of the film Calah was promoting, or the fact that she is so incredibly cute.
Interestingly the cape is detachable, but the power of this look, aside from the pleats, is the cape.
