Demi Lovato is getting married!
On December 17, a rep for Lovato confirmed to People that the “Confident” singer is engaged to songwriter Jodan ‘Jutes’ Lutes following a “personal and intimate proposal.” According to the publication, Lutes proposed to the Lovato with a “bespoke pear-shape diamond solitaire engagement ring created by N.Y.C. luxury jewelry boutique Material Good.” You can see photos here.
Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes first met in January 2022 when they co-wrote the song “Substance” and went public with their relationship in August of that same year. The musicians also worked on Lovato’s songs “Happy Ending” and “City of Angels” together.
“We’re so happy,” Lovato said on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up back in July 2023. “We became friends first. We were friends for several months and then we decided to start dating and well, after we told each other how we felt.” The “Cool for the Summer” singer added, “Yeah, I’m super happy, and he’s my best friend.”
