Ali Wong and Bill Hader just made their relationship Golden Globes-official almost one year after rekindling their romance. The pair didn’t walk the red carpet together before Sunday night’s ceremony, but they were seated next to one another inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Wong went on to win one of the night’s top honors: the award for best female actor in a limited series, anthology series, or TV motion picture for her role in the Netflix revenge comedy series Beef.
Before making her way up to the stage to accept her award, Wong paused to hug and kiss Hader with tears in her eyes. The smooch was one of the show’s sweetest moments, second only to Ayo Edebiri’s well-deserved win for her role in The Bear.
Ali Wong and Bill Hader began dating following her separation from ex-husband Justin Hakuta, with whom she shares two daughters. “I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend, Justin, for all of your love and support,” Wong said, addressing her ex in her Golden Globes acceptance speech. “It’s because of you that I’m able to be a working mother.”
