To say that you weren’t impressed with Emma Stone’s first Louis Vuitton look from the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards would be the biggest understatement of the year so far.
But the Louis Vuitton ambassador had another chance to impress at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, where she was nominated in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for ‘Poor Things,’ and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Drama for ‘The Curse.’
Taking home the award for the former, the actress looked beautiful wearing a custom Louis Vuitton deep V-neck tulle gown embroidered with flower-motifs.
I’m not the biggest fan of a central slit in general; in this case I feel that it sits a little too high, but without it, perhaps the gown would have felt too shapeless.
Also showing a bit of leg breaks up the one-noteness of the neutral hues.
All-in-all, I do love this for Emma, even if I am still waiting for a blown away moment à la Jennifer Connelly from her.
