Fantasia Barrino was the one person I was most excited to see this awards season.
We were offered so much promise as it came hot on the heels of an impressive promo tour for ‘The Color Purple.’
However, I was left disappointed, and surprisingly underwhelmed.
The only look that blew me away was her red Benchellal from the BAFTAs, with the Ronny Kobo gown from Governors Awards coming in second as I like the ode to Old Hollywood.
My least favourite was the orange Yousef Akbar gown from the Astra Film Awards as the actress was completely overwhelmed by so much fabric.
