American basketball player Anthony Edwards and Adidas have come together for their first-ever shoe collaboration, Adidas AE1. His inaugural shoe design pays homage to his personal history and upbringing, giving birth to the Adidas AE1 ‘Georgia Red Clay’.
The vibrant colour of the shoe mirrors the iconic red soil found in Georgia, a unique shade caused by the presence of iron oxides resulting from long-term weather patterns. Similar to previous Adidas AE1 releases, this colourway also features a minimalist design with contrasting tones on the shoe’s cage and mesh upper. Contrastingly, the sneaker’s tongue and heel branding comes in a black hue.
