Lana Del Rey was the headliner at the 2024 Coachella Music Festival on Friday, where she performed for the first time since her 2014 debut.
Her performance started with “Without You,” and “Norman F*cking Rockwell!,” “Chemtrails Over the Country Club,” “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” and more from her from Ultraviolence studio album.
For her opening look Lana entered the stage wearing a custom Dolce & Gabbana micro pleated draped jersey dress with cut out detail entirely embellished in Swarovski crystals.
Considering I associate Lana’s style with maxi – usually black – dresses, this look came completely out of left field for me.
I love the energy this look gave to her performance, which saw her six core dancers wearing custom coordinating Dolce & Gabbana draped dresses.
As the mood turned melodic, the singer changed into a second custom Dolce & Gabbana look, and this is where the magic really happened for me.
I mean, how can you not be hypnotized by the Swarovski crystal chains and fringed detailing dazzling under the lights.
If you’re anything like me, you’re thinking that this also feels like a Dakota Johnson style of gown.
Lana completed this look with an embroidered belt featuring a 30-foot train, and both looks were styled with custom Christian Louboutin Condora Botta silver crystal knee high boots.

During her set, Lana brought out Jon Batiste for their performance of “Candy Necklace.”
Jon, in a cape, on the piano is always a powerful image, but on this occasion the musician proved that not all musical heroes wear capes dressed in a white Dolce-fit double-breasted suit.
