There were many more celebrities wearing Loewe for the 2024 Met Gala on Monday joining Greta Lee, Ayo Edebiri, and Taylor Russell.
Looking at Dan Levy’s custom Loewe suit accented with caviar pearl floral embroidery, I think those of you who didn’t like Jordan Roth’s look are wishing that look had the same intricate graduating beauty which we are witnessing here.
The mesmerizing effect is well and truly alive with colourful climbing flowers.

Usually, the one thing you can count on is Anna Wintour wearing Chanel Haute Couture to the Met Gala, and with the theme the editor had a lot of options she could have recalled from the archives.
But she enlisted Jonathan Anderson to create this bias-cut silk satin dress paired with a tuxedo coat decorated with floral motifs using hand-dyed feathers, tonal beading and pearl embroidery, which was inspired by the Charles Frederick Worth Haute Couture cloak from 1889, using Loewe’s tailoring techniques from the Fall 2024 collection.
The gents were on par with the ladies when it came to serving up flair at this event with Jonathan Bailey oozing elegance in his custom Loewe suit.

We have seen Omar Apollo wearing Loewe’s embellished pieces on tour, but the musician opted for something new for the red carpet.
Exuding sophistication from the tailoring, and flair from the lapels adorned with oversized bugle beads, they featured the flower stem of the three individual handmade crystal-embellished flower pins, which are delicately positioned, seamlessly intertwining with the metal tubes, creating a captivating visual harmony.

Ariana Grande’s custom Loewe gown was inspired by the iridescence of mother-of-pearl.
A molded leather and mother-of-pearl bustier features the same draped skirt we saw on Taylor Russell, but this multi-layered pleated silk chiffon skirt was hand-painted to mimic the surface of the iridescent shell.
We all had the colour pink, tulle and an overwhelming gown on the cards for Ariana, so this look bodes well for her upcoming promo tour for ‘Wicked.’

Fresh from his press tour for ‘Challengers’ Josh O’Connor’s custom Loewe look draws inspiration from the exaggerated tailoring of the Fall 2024 collection with this single-breasted elongated tailcoat.
A bowed tie brooch from the Loewe x Lynda Benglis collection, and a pair of hand-beaded Loewe Campo biker boots featuring colourful floral motifs complete the look while nodding to the theme.

Ambika Mod’s custom look marries the Charles James’ 1951 Petal ball gown with a subtle blur effect capturing its petal-shaped waist detail and flower-like petticoat, echoing the blurred concept from the Loewe Fall 2023 collection.
