Nicola Coughlan attended the Netflix world premiere for ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 held at Alice Tully Hall on Monday in New York City.
I hate to be melodramatic, but I can’t think of any other way to express how much I dislike this custom Danielle Frankel gown inspired by the designers Fall 2024 collection.
I will give credit to the designer because the idea was there, but the execution failed. Miserably.
So many elements were either not thought through or not completed.
Where is the structure in the peplum?
Why are there two panels below the peplum if not one was going to provide any stability or purpose?
Why are the straps so restricting considering the peplum which would require Nicola’s arms to be away from her body?
Why is this dress so long that it is bunching around her waist?
I’m genuinely so upset for Nicola because she was let down by so many people here.
Nicola deserves so much better for a world premiere where the spotlight was on her.
From the neck up, she looked as beautiful as ever, with Chopard jewels completing her look.
I am fuming.
