Eva Longoria attended the Apple TV+ premiere of ‘Land of Women’ at The Whitby Hotel in New York City on Thursday, but her fashion choice left much to be desired.
At first glance, I thought Eva was suffering from an unflattering camera angle. However, upon closer inspection, it became clear that the primary issue lay in the fit and material of her Ermanno Scervino Fall 2024 dress.
Eva has a petite frame, which is unfortunately overwhelmed by this dress, which appeared too large for her. The thick material of the bodice added to the problem, giving her a boxy silhouette that did not complement her figure.
This ill-fitted dress stood in stark contrast to the polished and sophisticated looks Eva typically showcases on European red carpets. It’s a long-standing observation that her appearances in Europe exude a different level of style and elegance compared to her US red carpet events. This disparity continues to puzzle me, especially considering her team is the same.
This is a lesson in the importance of fit and fabric choice, especially for those with petite frames.
