Lewis Hamilton claimed his long-awaited – and record-breaking – ninth British Grand Prix victory in a thrilling race at Silverstone last weekend, in a race that had fans shedding tears of joy as the Mercedes driver lifted the trophy aloft before being drenched in champagne.
Beyond his exceptional performance on the track, Lewis also turned heads with his sartorial choices throughout the race weekend, presenting four distinct street-style paddock looks.
Lewis brought his beloved dog, Roscoe, to work, as they both made their way to the paddock. Clad in blouson from the Dior Men’s Spring 2025 collection, which featured Asian-inspired prints; this outfit marked a departure from his usual preference for darker colours this season, infusing a summery flair. The blouson was styled with a crisp white vest and navy trousers, creating a balanced and stylish look.
Brown studded Dior Men’s Cape Town boots and a Dior beige canvas Normandie tote bag that bore the playful inscription, “Dior for my real friends” which saw Kim Jones, Dior Men’s creative director, blending practicality with a touch of whimsy.
Lewis’ next look came from the JW Anderson Fall 2024 collection, featuring a unique take on the classic cargo trousers. The designer used workwear-inspired fabric and an oversized silhouette, accentuated by an oversized pocket, to create a standout ensemble. Lewis masterfully balanced the proportions of the oversized look with a jacket from the same collection and a logo embroidered vest. Louis Vuitton pearls and Dior Men’s khaki boots, showcased his ability to blend high fashion with functional pieces seamlessly.
Flying the flag for British fashion, Lewis collaborated once again with Burberry, following their partnership at the Met Gala. Daniel Lee crafted a custom green outfit inspired by the Resort 2025 collection. The look, drawing from aviator styles, perfectly matched Lewis’ swagger and highlighted a glorious shade of green that complemented his skin tone beautifully.
The ensemble was further elevated by All Gender Veneda Carter x Timberland® 6 Inch patent leather boots, which were not only stylish but also waterproof, making them ideal for the unpredictable weather at Silverstone.
As Lewis prepares for a new chapter in his career with Ferrari in 2025, his final look at the British Grand Prix as a Mercedes driver seemed to pay homage to his future team. Sporting an ensemble from the Jacquemus Fall 2024 collection, the striking red outfit was a subtle nod to Ferrari’s signature colour. Completing the look were another pair of All Gender Veneda Carter x Timberland® 6 Inch patent leather boots and his signature pearls, adding a touch of elegance and continuity to his style.
The Dior and JW Anderson looks stood out for me as both ensembles showcased Hamilton’s versatility and flair for fashion, making it difficult to choose a favourite. Nonetheless, each look reflected his unique style and ability to make a statement both on and off the track, cementing his status as a fashion icon in the world of motorsport.
