Scarlett Johansson attended the photocall for ‘Fly me To The Moon’ held at the Matadero Cultural Center in Madrid on Thursday.
I’m sure your excitement was palpable after seeing that she was wearing Courrèges from the title, as Nicolas Di Felice, the creative genius behind the brand, is synonymous with supercharged, super sexy fashion.
Scarlett, however, took a different route, as she chose one of the brand’s more commercial dresses.
At first glance, I had mixed feelings. The trapeze silhouette was undeniably elegant, and the quality of the fabric was superb. It has a timeless charm, and a simplicity that is hard to fault. Plus Scarlett’s choice of accessories added a touch of sophistication, with Prada sandals and Messika jewels providing a subtle yet striking sparkle.
Despite all these positives, I can’t shake the feeling of wanting more. Scarlett has a presence that can elevate any look, and while this dress was beautiful, I yearned for something that truly embodied the bold spirit of Courrèges.
Scarlett’s beauty and charisma always set the bar high, and my expectations will naturally follow suit.
