Travis Barker may have a penchant for permanent body art, but for fiancée Kourtney Kardashian, the significantly more transient nail art is more her speed. And it looks like the two have married their styles (which does not require a license, unlike actual marriage) with tattoo-inspired nail-art tributes to each other.
Kardashian posted a photo to her Instagram Stories showing her thumb atop Barker’s—his is the tattooed one, FYI—showing off their new thumbnail designs.
Kardashian’s almond-shaped thumbnail features the letter T (presumably for Travis) atop a pinkish-beige base, while Barker’s features a K (could be for Kourtney, could be for Kardashian—you be the judge) on clear polish. The Old English font is a popular choice for tattoos—at least one of Barker’s is in a lowercase version of the typeface—so it has that permanent vibe without, you know, the permanence.
Their nail art was hand-painted by Kardashian’s talented go-to nail artist, Kim Truong, who used The Gel Bottle’s shade Marshmallow for Kardashian’s base and Jet Black for their letters. But if you’re not a dab hand at nail art, you can still get the look very easily. Considering their Las Vegas nuptials were just “practice” for something more permanent, perhaps this nail art is practice for something more permanent, too. Maybe it’s time for a T tattoo, Kourt.
