Zoe Kravitz has always been a style icon, effortlessly blending edge with elegance, and her appearance at the London photocall for ‘Blink Twice’ on Sunday was no exception.
Wearing a look from Saint Laurent’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection, Zoe once again reminded us why she’s a force in fashion. However, I suspect this outfit might leave some people feeling as underwhelmed as they were with her New York premiere outing.
But here’s the thing—I’m completely here for it. There’s something refreshingly simple and relaxed about the way Zoe put this look together. The laced tank top and wrap pencil skirt combination may appear understated, but it perfectly captures a kind of laid back, “thrown together for a Sunday photocall” vibe that’s difficult to pull off unless you have Zoe’s effortless cool.
The outfit gives off a hint of early ‘90s with the subtle sliver of skin adding just the right amount of allure.
Also, when it comes to Zoe’s style, simplicity and minimalism always speak louder than over-the-top glamour. And yet, despite its simplicity, the look feels intentional and polished—especially when paired with those Saint Laurent SL 751 Jeanne sunglasses, which adds a touch of mystery to an otherwise straightforward ensemble.
While some might argue that this look is too relaxed, even for a photocall, I think it’s a perfect reflection of Zoe’s unique approach to fashion. She doesn’t need to rely on extravagant gowns or intricate designs to make a statement. Instead, she lets her natural confidence and innate sense of style do the talking. This Saint Laurent outfit, complete with Lee Slingback pumps, is the kind of ensemble that only someone with Zoe’s presence can truly pull off.
It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that every red carpet or photocall look needs to be a showstopper, but Zoe is showing us that there’s beauty in restraint. Sometimes, the most powerful fashion moments come not from what you wear, but how you wear it. Zoe’s London photocall look may not scream for attention, but it quietly commands it—an approach that feels entirely authentic to her.
