The romantic, renaissance-inspired coat, paired with the structured Dior belt, bag, and shoes, exuded a blend of gothic glamour and old-world romance that felt perfectly suited to her ethereal presence. Dior Fine Jewellery completed her look, but the I kinda wish she had worn the runway choker.

Noémie Merlant opted for a black silk butterfly sleeve dress from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2025 collection, choosing a more understated version over the runway’s silver-embellished option. Some might wonder if she played it too safe, but I believe she made the right call. The simpler black version, paired with knee-high leather boots, offered a sophisticated and polished look that felt true to Noémie’s style. The runway version, while striking, would have been a difficult look to pull off—even for someone like Jennifer Connelly. Noémie’s choice reflects a nuanced understanding of what works best for her, embracing elegance over drama.
