The 2024 Emmy Awards delivered not only a celebration of television’s finest, but also a fashion showcase—thanks in large part to Dior, who dressed five celebrities, including three eventual winners.
A Fresh Silhouette for an Awards Season Staple
Reese Witherspoon, nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for ‘The Morning Show’, stepped out in a black tulle gown from the Dior Resort 2025 collection that was a departure from her usual column silhouette. While this dress offered a softer, ethereal silhouette, it still had the unmistakable essence of Reese: classic, feminine, and polished.
When thinking of Dior’s Resort 2025 collection, many immediately recall the plaid pieces—like the dress worn by Taylor Swift at the VMAs. But Reese’s gown reminds us of the more delicate, embroidered dresses that closed out the collection.
Bucherer Fine Jewellery completed her look.

Minimalism with a Touch of Velvet
For some, Elizabeth Debicki’s Emmy-winning night (Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for ‘The Crown’) may have felt like déjà vu. That’s because her black velvet gown from Dior Resort 2025 collection is precisely in line with her consistently minimalist, effortless style. There’s something so compelling about her quiet elegance—the kind that doesn’t need to shout to be heard.
Paired with a Vacheron Constantine timepiece, Aldo shoes, and dazzling De Beers jewels, including the Arpeggia long diamond earrings, Elizabeth’s look was a masterclass in understated luxury. Her look felt as timeless as her portrayal of Princess Diana.

A Modern Take on Timeless Elegance
Lamorne Morris, who took home his first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series for ‘Fargo’, embodied sophistication in a Dior Men’s Collection Oblique tuxedo. This look balanced classic tailoring with a contemporary edge, perfect for a night that celebrated his milestone win.
What truly set his outfit apart was the addition of the Dior embellished Lily of the Valley brooch. It’s a small detail, but one that brought a unique touch of personality to the ensemble, proving that Dior Men’s looks can be just as statement-making as the women’s. Lamorne exuded confidence and refinement, effortlessly owning his moment in the spotlight.
Navy and Black with Flair
Hiroyuki Sanada, who won the Lead Actor in a Drama Series award for ‘Shōgun’, wore a navy Dior Men’s Collection suit paired with black elements. While I’m usually not a fan of mixing navy and black, it was the embroidered tie that made this look a standout. That added touch of flair brought the whole ensemble together, demonstrating that even classic looks can have a fresh, modern twist when styled thoughtfully.
Hiroyuki’s Dior suit was a perfect match for his grounded yet powerful screen presence, and this was a look that didn’t just conform to the traditional— it elevated it.
Classic Elegance Done Right
If you’re seeking something more traditional, Tommy Bastow’s Dior Men’s Collection suit was the epitome of timeless, red-carpet-ready style. Starring alongside Hiroyuki in ‘Shōgun’, Tommy went for a classic look that highlighted Dior’s immaculate tailoring.
