Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of Oscar de la Renta brought their signature elegance to the 2024 Emmy Awards, offering us a sneak peek of their upcoming Spring 2025 collection. With some of Hollywood’s most stylish stars debuting these looks, the red carpet was awash with glamour, innovation, and a masterful mix of colours and textures.
Pale Mint Perfection
Kristen Wiig, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, was one of the first to debut the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2025 collection on the red carpet. She wore a woven sequin strapless dress that appeared gold under the lights but was actually a delicate pale mint. The understated colour added an element of surprise to an already stunning gown, with the sequins catching the light beautifully.

A Rosy Departure from Summer Black
After spending the summer promoting ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ in mostly black outfits, Catherine O’Hara made a refreshing shift at the Emmys in an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2025 crystallized rose gown. The standout element here was the impeccable skin-tone lining—an essential detail that often makes or breaks a gown’s impact. Whoever is responsible for this flawless execution deserves a standing ovation. The gown’s romantic vibe was a delightful contrast to her previous darker looks, and it felt like a breath of fresh air for the actress.

Jennifer Aniston opted for her second-favourite colour, silver, in a pearl-embroidered scallop column gown from Oscar de la Renta’s Resort 2025 collection, accessorizing with Tiffany & Co. Archives earrings and bracelet, a platinum diamond ring, and Jimmy Choo Alva sandals, bringing together a timeless and sophisticated look that is quintessentially Jennifer.
