It is safe to say that you weren’t really fans of Saoirse Ronan’s Hodakova dress worn to ‘The Outrun’ New York screening on Monday, and she has been feeling blue about it ever since: literally, as her next three outings have showcased shades of blue, and that she’s not backing down from experimenting with her style.
92NY ‘The Outrun’ Discussion
Honestly, I swooned when I saw Saoirse arriving for her discussion at 92NY wearing a Ferragamo Resort 2025 ensemble. The teal blue button-down cargo shirt was strong and sexy without feeling too utilitarian, a balance that Ferragamo often nails. And considering we’re well into October, I’m loudly cheering for every velvet moment we get, especially when it’s in the form of these teal blue crushed velvet wide-leg trousers. Saoirse seems to be stepping into her “cool girl” era, with the black patent leather Ferragamo pumps and shades, giving the whole look an effortlessly chic vibe. It’s confident, current and just what we need.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!
It feels like the “quiet Irish girl” image was officially thrown out the window this week, and seeing Saoirse walk into the ABC studios for ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ confirmed it. Dressed in a JW Anderson Spring 2025 blue mini dress, Saoirse flaunted her long, lean legs while allowing us to appreciate the garment’s intricate detailing.
The knitted trompe l’oeil design (look 4), with its playful reference to another runway dress (look 5), highlighted a new side of Saoirse—bold, carefree, and distinctly modern. I found this look both powerful and playful, plus it marked a definitive step into her new fashion era.
The Outrun LA Premiere
You didn’t think the week would conclude without one Louis Vuitton look, did you?
The Louis Vuitton ambassador – who, judging by this week’s outings, is allowed some free reign – wore a blue silk faille asymmetric dress from the Resort 2025 collection. Much like Zendaya’s outing in a similar green dress, this bubble-hemmed silhouette is proving to be both polarising and fun. Personally, I love the fresh, buoyant energy she’s exuding. Completing the look with black LV heels, tights, and ear cuffs, Saoirse embraced confident expression.
