Taking time out from her press tour for ‘The Last Showgirl,’ Pamela Anderson attended the 2024 Glamour Women of the Year ceremony held at Times Square EDITION Hotel on Tuesday in New York City as a Global Woman of the Year honouree.
The reinvention of Pamela’s style has been marked by two standout elements: her decision to go makeup-free and her preference for an increasingly minimalist aesthetic, both of which have been strikingly effective.
Her gown of choice for the evening was from Oscar de la Renta, a brand she seems to favour in her new fashion phase. The sage-coloured, caped gown was both delicate and dramatic, featuring a crystal-embellished yoke that added just the right touch of glamour. The flow of the gown was quintessential Oscar de la Renta—timeless and meticulously tailored, allowing Pamela to channel her newly honed sense of quiet power.
While her Pandora diamond necklace sparkled beautifully, its pairing with the already embellished yoke of the gown seemed somewhat redundant. In this case, the gown’s detailing alone makes the statement without the additional accessory. Nonetheless, her overall look was a strong continuation of her evolving aesthetic.
