It’s only the second time Kate Middleton has appeared in public since announcing that she’s completed treatment, so perhaps as a show of support, she and Prince William dressed in coordinating, dark burgundy ensembles for their October 10 appearance.
The Princess of Wales wore a polka dot pussy bow dress from Whistles under an Alexander McQueen (naturally) peacoat in a coordinating shade of dark red. Her pointed toe pumps and clutch bag perfectly matched the color of the coat, and Kate finished the look with Catherine Zoraida gold fern drop earrings.
To match his wife, Prince William wore a burgundy pullover sweater with a matching tie under his dark gray suit, finished with autumnal brown Chelsea boots.
The Waleses were visiting Southport, England, where three young girls were killed in a stabbing incident at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class. William and Kate reportedly spoke privately with the families of the three victims, who were all between the ages of six and nine, per Sky News.
The couple also met with some of the emergency service workers who had responded to the attacks. “You’re all heroes,” Kate Middleton told the workers. “Please make sure you look after yourselves, please take your time, don’t rush back to work.”
