From the fabric to the hair, there was a flowing freeness to the Prabal Gurung SS25 show at NYFW. Gurung has always championed himself as a designer who designs looks that are attainable, and the feel of this collection — especially the hair, was just that. While the themes and finishes of the spring summer collection may have felt flexible, one thing that stood front and center was that they put their best HAIR GAME ON!
THE SHOW
Letting the clothes speak for themselves, the hair complemented the show by adding to the movement as the garments came down the runway. Gurung noted that he wanted the hair to “move in the wind” and Wella Hairstylist Anthony Cole bought that vision to life with the help of Wella Professionals ULTIMATE REPAIR.

THE PREP
The hair team was led by Wella Stylists Anthony Cole and Briana Cisneros. Cisneros consulted on the color looks by prepping hair wefts with the latest Golden Hour Koleston Perfect, Color Touch and Shinefinity shades. Cole noted that ULTIMATE REPAIR was essential during prep and backstage to maintain the integrity of the hair and ensure a healthy, flowing finish on the runway.
THE FINISH
