Rebecca Hall Wore JW Anderson To 'The Listeners' London Film Festival Screening

Rebecca Hall made her return to the red carpet on Thursday for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘The Listeners’, in which she stars, directed by Janicza Bravo. With this being such a quintessentially British event, it felt fitting that she opted to support a London-based designer, choosing a striking look from JW Anderson.

I haven’t been impressed with the use of black tights on the red carpet this week, but Rebecca’s styling is an exception. The tights worked seamlessly with her JW Anderson dropped-waist black dress, adding cohesion while allowing the real star of the outfit to shine: the geometrically structured red satin skirt.

At first glance, the skirt itself seemed to have an additional detail, but on closer inspection, it became clear that she was carrying a matching red satin Tyler Ellis clutch.

One element I particularly appreciated was Rebecca’s choice to brave the chilly October evening, allowing us to fully appreciate the dress before she later donned a grey coat for warmth.

The outfit was finished off with JW Anderson’s Chain slingback heels, which added a modern, architectural edge to the overall ensemble.

I love how this look balanced elegance with innovation, further highlighting how simplicity, when done well, can leave a lasting impression.
