Zoe Saldana attended the Critics Choice Association’s 4th Annual Celebration of Latino Cinema and Television at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, where she was honoured with the Groundbreaker Award for her performance in ‘Emilia Pérez’.
This recognition comes after a triumphant win at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, where she and her female co-stars took home the Best Actress Prize for their roles in the Netflix film. With a career spanning over two decades, and as the only actor to have starred in four films that have grossed over $2 billion, Zoe’s impact on both the box office and the industry is undeniable.
As she accepted her award, Zoe looked effortlessly elegant in a Brandon Maxwell Spring 2025 French blue satin backless midi dress. The dress artful gathers around the neck transitioning into a fitted navy knit yoke and belt, perfectly complemented her statuesque figure while bringing sophistication to the celebration.
Zoe’s ability to balance classic elegance with subtle edginess continues to make her a standout on the red carpet, and this Brandon Maxwell dress was no exception.
The evening was made even more special by the presence of Zoe’s family in the IMDb Exclusive Portrait Studio, including her sisters Mariel and Cisely Saldaña, and their parents Aridio Saldaña and Asalia Nazario, adding a heartfelt touch to an already momentous night.
While Zoe is no stranger to breaking records, this Groundbreaker Award feels like the perfect precursor to what could be an exciting awards season ahead for her.
