Joining her ‘Wicked’ co-star Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo was a guest presenter at the 2024 WSJ Innovators Awards at New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
For the occasion, she chose a look from the very popular Erdem Spring 2025 collection—an ensemble that feels like a love letter to the golden age of fashion, skillfully modernised with a blend of masculine and feminine elements.
Much like Naomi Scott’s recent red carpet look for the ‘Smile 2’ London premiere, Cynthia’s ensemble features luxurious tailoring and embellishments giving the outfit a refined edge, showcasing a balancing act between strength and delicacy that Erdem has perfected this season.
Some might say that the look didn’t feel “dressy” enough for an event of this stature, but there’s an undeniable appeal in its thoughtful, laidback elegance – much like her look for the ‘Wicked’ New York screening. The fusion of grey and green is particularly striking, lending a fresh twist while keeping her from blending into the green-heavy step-and-repeat.
Adding a touch of whimsy and finesse, Cynthia accessorized with a pair of grey, white, and black butterfly earrings by Silvia Furmanovich. These earrings felt like the true highlight, accentuating her look without overpowering it, a nod to her taste for distinctive details.
