Antonia Gentry attended the ‘Time Cut’ special screening held at Netflix Home Theater on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California, where the actress wore a purple tartan wool bustier dress and shorts from the Dior Resort 2025 collection.
If you’re anything like me, you are hoping that someone will eventually be inspired by the runway styling, but I would say that this wasn’t the time or the place, but I do wish that Antonia had at least considered the leather belt which could have added a sharp contrast to the tartan, giving her look more of an edge.
Some of you will be happy about this reimagined approach, particularly those who weren’t quite onboard with how Taylor Swift styled her Dior look at the VMAs.
However, I think a full Dior Resort 2025 look with the runway styling still has a lot of potential, especially on someone with a flair for bold fashion like Anya Taylor-Joy, Hari Nef or I would like to see Andrea Riseborough select another look from this collection.
I feel all three ladies could really bring out the collection’s unique character with those runway details intact.
So, while Antonia’s look had a refreshing and youthful vibe, I still see a full runway look as a challenge worth exploring. Who would you love to see in Dior’s full Resort 2025 look next?
