Rachel Zegler Wore Harris Reed To The 'Spellbound' New York Premiere

Rachel Zegler attended the New York premiere of Netflix’s ‘Spellbound’ at The Paris Theatre on Monday, debuting a look that is bound to divide you as her Harris Reed Spring 2025 dress is undeniably a departure from her usual choices.

First, let’s celebrate the fact that it’s not Dior. Yes, her last Dior outing was breathtaking, but this change is still refreshing. Second, it’s not the kind of gown we’ve seen her in countless times before—something many have been hoping for. And finally, we have a new silhouette, and I, for one, am thrilled.

Yes, the gloves do appear a bit big, but judging by the look book, the unconventional proportions were intended, and it actually works here. They add to the overall drama, making it creative and visually captivating, along with the contrasting black flowers which add a whimsical touch without relying on the typical “spellbinding” visual clichés we could have seen here.

I love how she tried something different, and showed that she’s not afraid to experiment. It’s bold, and it feels like a step forward in her fashion journey.

The only thing that didn’t work for me is the embellished ankle strap on her black Jimmy Choo pumps which feels out of sync with the rest of the look. It’s a minor distraction in an otherwise successful look.

Shahla Karimi jewels provided the finishing touch along with an elegant updo.

I’d say Rachel’s risk absolutely paid off.  Do you agree?
