Zoe Saldana Wore Saint Laurent For The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Zoe Saldana was spotted heading to CBS Studios in New York City on Wednesday for her guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ coinciding with the same-day streaming release of her latest film, ‘Emilia Pérez’ on Netflix.

While her recent Balmain looks on this have felt a bit off, her Saint Laurent moments have been a different story, and Wednesday’s look was another triumph. Trading in the sheer and leather we saw in London for the photocall, Zoe switched gears with impeccable mannish tailoring from Saint Laurent’s Spring 2025 collection.

This Saint Laurent collection brought a bold, modern femininity to the table, embracing sartorial contradictions. The suit challenges conventional ideas of power dressing, rooted in YSL’s iconic heritage while reimagining it for today’s woman. What I love most about this look is how Zoe let it be. She didn’t remove the bulky tie to soften the masculine feel of the look, nor did she sweep back her wavy hair to downplay her femininity. She didn’t adjust or compromise—she wore the look as it was intended, and she wore it well.

This wasn’t about picking a side; it was about picking a look with its foundation in tailoring. And I have to say, it works for her. By embracing the full Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello vision, Zoe exudes confidence without forcing a statement. She simply lets the suit do what it was designed to do: reframe power dressing with an effortless cool.

Finishing the look were the Saint Laurent New Sling Puntale pumps, giving her ensemble a polished edge without detracting from the beautifully constructed suit.

This was a perfect reminder that sometimes, letting the look speak for itself is the strongest statement of all.
