Jodie Turner-Smith attended the photocall for her new espionage-thriller series, ‘The Agency’, at Corinthia London earlier today.
Known for her bold sartorial choices, Jodie managed to rework a material many associate with 1970s nostalgia—or worse, their schoolteacher’s blazer with leather elbow patches.
Jodie shook off the dowdier connotations of corduroy with this S.S. Daley Spring 2025 tan suit that leaned into retro flair, thanks to its wide lapels and even wider trousers. The tailoring alone gave a subtle nod to the ‘70s, but it was her decision to style the suit with an ivory corset that made all the difference. This touch added a contemporary, feminine edge, making the ensemble feel fresher than the runway styling it originated from.
We all know, and some of us love, Jodie’s tendency toward maximalist accessorizing. Yet, for this appearance, she continued her recent “less is more” approach, allowing the outfit to do the talking without competing embellishments. The minimal styling let the suit and corset take center stage.
With ‘The Agency’ set to launch on Paramount+ UK on Saturday, November 30, Jodie is kicking off her press tour with a look that balances vintage charm and modern sophistication. If this is the energy she’s bringing for the series, we’re in for something new and exciting.
