This midnight blue wool bustier dress, embroidered entirely with tonal sequins and faux horsehair, stands as proof of that. The 3D silver embellishments, which resemble shiny miniature eggs, might prompt a few “not more spoons” jokes from those still thinking about Cate Blanchett’s iconic recycled look, but let’s not go there. This design stands on its own, offering a fresh and imaginative perspective from the label.
Danielle kept the runway styling intact, pairing the dress with black velvet pumps and sheer black mesh gloves that reinforces the dress’ high-fashion appeal.
And then there’s her afro bob. We need to pause and appreciate the elegance and power it exudes. Her hairstyle complements the avant-garde nature of the gown while adding its own layer of sophistication.
