Amy Adams continued her press tour for ‘Nightbitch’ at the Linwood Dunn Theater on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.
It’s safe to say that Amy’s approach to fashion has shifted since her return to the spotlight. We’re now seeing a pivot toward muted colour palettes, understated silhouettes, and subtle details. This shift feels intentional, and her bespoke Emilia Wickstead peplum dress perfectly encapsulated this new chapter.
It’s timeless, elegant, and very much aligned with what I’ll call Amy 2.0. The clean lines and structure of the dress are a lesson in simplicity done right.
However, what truly sets this look apart is the moiré fabric. Without it, the ensemble might have risked fading into the background. Instead, the texture adds a quiet drama, ensuring the dress holds its own.
Amy has always had a knack for delivering classic, memorable looks, but this era of restraint and refinement is her new brand of power dressing. If this is what we can expect from Amy going forward, I’m tentatively on board.
