Bvlgari celebrated the launch of its Tubogas collection in Bangkok on Saturday, and the event was a masterclass in elegance. Hosted by Lisa of BLACKPINK, with Friends of the House Davika Hoorne and Pia Wurtzbach, this soirée wasn’t just about exquisite jewelry—it was a feast of show-stopping fashion moments that perfectly complemented the glimmering Tubogas pieces.
A symphony of pink and gold
Lisa looked breathtaking in a custom Robert Wun Spring 2024 Couture gown in petal pink. The long-sleeve design, with its fluid drapery and cohesive bodice, was a softer, more refined interpretation compared to the original runway look, and it worked beautifully in the context of the evening.
The asymmetrical neckline of the original design might have overshadowed her yellow gold Bvlgari Tubogas jewels, but this custom version struck the perfect balance.
Hypnotic glamour in velvet and crystals
Thai actress Davika Hoorne let her Zuhair Murad Fall 2024 Couture gown do the talking. The halter dress, crafted in deep brown velvet and adorned with intricate crystal embroideries, exuded a regal opulence.
While embellished gowns might not traditionally be my go-to for a jewelry event, the rich texture and craftsmanship felt utterly enchanting. Davika’s effortless poise made this look truly unforgettable.
Gold and glamour
Pia Wurtzbach paid homage to her roots in a bespoke gold gown by Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner. The shimmering design, paired with a dramatic puffed bolero, perfectly framed her Bvlgari Serpenti Tubogas bracelet.
The structured silhouette was a bold choice, but Pia’s undeniable presence carried it effortlessly.
