Catherine Zeta-Jones had a very romantic date night with her husband, Michael Douglas. The two Hollywood stars attended The Red Sea International Film Festival 2024 opening ceremony on Thursday, walking the red carpet hand in hand and posing for the cameras in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The ‘Wednesday’ actress looked glamorous in a cerulean blue satin strapless gown featuring a matching pleated cape and a wide train. The star paired the look with white strappy sandals and accessorized with diamond drop earrings, matching bracelets, and sapphire rings.
She styled her hair in loose waves and rocked a stunning makeup look including a shimmery red lip and dramatic eyeshadow. Meanwhile, her husband looked elegant in a classic black suit, a white dress shirt, and a black tie.
The pair continue to go strong in their marriage and have supported each other throughout their successful careers in the entertainment business. “24 years ago, I said, I do. Happy Anniversary darling Michael,” the actress wrote on November 18, celebrating their anniversary. “Our love is like a hole in one…. You have to see it to believe it. love you.”
“24 years ago my darling; wow was I a lucky guy! Happy Anniversary Catherine!” Michael wrote on a different post. The celebrity couple met in September 1998 at the Deauville Film Festival, following a screening of ‘The Mask of Zorro.’
The actor proposed in December 1999 and they tied the knot in November 2000 during a lavish ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. They share a 24-year-old son Dylan and a 21-year-old daughter Carys. Michael also shares 45-year-old son Cameron with former wife, Diandra Luker.
“My son went to his first theatre lesson and he turned to his teacher and said, ‘Don’t worry, I’m a good actor. It’s in my genes,'” Catherine said to HOLA! Spain about her son Dylan.
