Dua Lipa made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Wednesday in New York City to promote her upcoming concert special, ‘An Evening With Dua Lipa,’ airing this Sunday on CBS and Paramount+.
The British singer, ever mindful of practicality and style, arrived at the studio in a green Raf Simons Fall 2019 leather coat—a piece that has clearly become a staple in her wardrobe.
Considering how wet it was, Dua made the right call with this coat. The quality of the leather and its timeless design ensure that this isn’t a one-season wonder. It’s a piece we’re bound to see her wear for years to come.
But let’s be honest: as gorgeous as the coat is, you’re probably more intrigued by what’s underneath. And I don’t blame you. The way those crystals sparkled under the streetlights was nothing short of mesmerising.
Once Dua took her seat on the show, she revealed an Alaïa studded long-sleeve draped sheer maxi dress from Pieter Mulier’s Archetypes Winter-Spring 2025 collection. This draped design, embellished with strass, was previously seen on Georgina Rodriguez at the Red Sea Film Festival’s opening ceremony, but Dua’s outing takes the lead for me.
The way this look balances glamour and edge feels more aligned with Dua’s aesthetic.
Elsa Peretti® and Tiffany Victoria® earrings, paired with diamond studs, a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany ring, and Amina Muaddi Ursina black pumps added the perfect finishing touches.
Between the effortless luxury of the Raf Simons coat and the sparkling drama of the Alaïa dress, this felt like a return to form for Dua.
