Laura Carmichael joined Michelle Dockery and Joanne Froggatt on the red carpet for the ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ New York premiere held at the Metropolitan Opera House on Sunday (May 15).
The actress is usually the one from the trio who will stand out with a look that possesses a slight edge, but on this occasion, she kept things simple in this Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2022 strapless dress.
I love the detail on the skirt, but this dress in general feels a bit safe by Laura’s standards.
This is the one dress from the red carpet that is pretty, but unfortunately forgettable.
Did this look need something more? Statement jewels or a bold lip.
Possibly I’m just missing her London premiere energy.
