Aquaman star Jason Momoa was spotted getting quite chummy with Underworld star Kate Beckinsale at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party on Sunday, March 27 in Beverly Hills, CA, which followed the 94th Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
In photos from the event, which you can view over here via People, Jason Momoa and Kate Beckinsale were seen smiling and getting a little cozy. At some point in the evening, Momoa offered Beckinsale his tuxedo jacket for warmth to cover her sheer dress. I have to imagine Jason Momoa’s tuxedo jacket is as warm as a heated blanket.
An anon source told E! News that Momoa and Beckinsale “were standing at a bar chatting” and that “they both had smiles on their faces and were very much into their conversation.” This could be indicative of something romantic on the horizon, but the VF Oscars After Party is filled with celebrities talking to each other, so they could just be friendly. Case in point: The two were also photographed talking with Rita Ora and Zendaya at some point in the night, which you can see below.
Jason Momoa recently ended his 16-year-long relationship and four-year marriage with Lisa Bonet. In January, the couple shared the news of their mutual break-up with a joint statement posted on Momoa’s social media.
Since the breakup, rumors have swirled that Moma and Bonnet reconnected. But that’s not true, which Momoa confirmed to Access Hollywood at the Oscars. “We’re not back together. We’re family, you know?” he told the outlet. “We have two beautiful children together. We’re not getting back together. We’re family forever.”
