Kylie Jenner took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 15 to send a little love to her fellow postpartum moms and talk about her own struggles after welcoming son Wolf on February 2.

Jenner, who shares Wolf and 4-year-old daughter Stormi with boyfriend Travis Scott, told her followers, “I just wanna say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy, it’s very hard. This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter; it’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually. It’s just crazy.”

Speaking more broadly about pressures to “get back” into a normal routine after pregnancy, Jenner continued, “I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet—and for other moms going through it right now—we can go on the internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and [that might] put the pressure on us. But it hasn’t been easy for me, it’s been hard. And I just wanted to say that. I didn’t think I’d make it to this workout today but I’m here and I’m feeling better, so, you got this.”

The makeup mogul added, “It’s okay not to be okay. Once I realized that I was putting some pressure on myself…and I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human. A beautiful healthy boy, and we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back. Not even physically, just mentally after birth. Just sending some love, I love you guys.”

(Interestingly, following Stormi’s birth, Jenner endorsed a waist trainer, which she promoted using “snap back” language on her Instagram.)

Jenner, who alongside her family stars in the upcoming Hulu series The Kardashians, has so far kept her young son out of the spotlight, sharing only an image of his hand to confirm his birth.
