There were many more gorgeous gowns seen on the red carpet for the ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ world premiere held at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London on Monday (April 25).

Laura Haddock stars as Myrna Dalgleish, the glamorous star of the production being filmed at the Abbey.

It seems like capes were trending on this red carpet, as the actress put on a glamorous display wearing a Miu Miu gown.

The ethereal nature of this gown is very much expected from Laura.  She’s always a vision every time she steps onto the red carpet.

Some might not love the feathers that accented her waist, but I love how it adds to the cloud-like dreaminess of it all.

Jimmy Choo silver metallic sandals and TASAKI earrings completed her look.

While her cast-mates were opting for embellished dresses and diaphanous gowns, Joanne Froggatt, who plays lady’s maid Anna Bates, wore a striking Sabina Bilenko red one-shoulder dress.

You can immediately tell that this was a custom creation, because the fit and length are both impeccable.

The only thing I would change about this look, is a much sleeker hairstyle.

Sophie Mcshera, who stars in the film as assistant cook Daisy Robinson, was giving me Kristen Stewart vibes wearing this metallic two-piece look which also didn’t follow the ethereal gown trend.

I love this silvery hue against her skin, and I also loved the makeup which some believe should’ve been softer, but it’s clear she wanted to add an edge to this look.

Elizabeth McGovern, who returns as Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham, was looking as regal as ever wearing a beautiful velvet gown accented with a bedazzled bodice.

Tuppence Middleton debuted her baby bump at the premiere wearing a Valentino dress from the Pre-Fall 2022 Promenade collection.

I like how the embellishments on her dress complemented her Jimmy Choo ‘Thyra’ sandals

When I saw Claire Danes in this beautiful Prada guipure lace gown embellished with rose-motif embroideries and red crystals, my first thought was, I wish she opted for a different belt, or no belt at all.

Maybe the placement is throwing me off.  I don’t know.  It’s just not working for me, but she looks divine as always.
