Amanda Seyfried is as ready for summer as she is for her Emmy Award.
The actress, who has received high praise for her performance as Elizabeth Holmes on Hulu’s The Dropout, wore a trendy ’fit to a screening of the series finale at the Paramount Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, April 11: a kelly green minidress with chunky platform sandals.
Amanda’s green minidress falls several inches above her knees, with short sleeves and a modest V-neck (this dress really lets the legs do all the work). The Mamma Mia! star completed the look with an on-trend but classy pair of black platform sandals with a gold buckle. Seyfried didn’t accessorize and instead let the bright color stand on its own. For makeup, she went for a fresh look with a deep rosy lip and subtle warm eye shadow. She styled her hair in a deep side part with long, beachy waves—the opposite of her character’s preferred messy bun.
Platforms, short hemlines, minimal accessories—Seyfried’s look is as ready for spring as I am.

“I gave it my all and I had a really amazing time doing it and I needed a break,” Seyfried told Variety at the event of working on The Dropout. “I think about it often, like, What did [Elizabeth Holmes] know? What is she inventing right now? What is she thinking about?”
She added, “Oh, I think I’m a character actor, judging by how much fun I had on this one. God, I just want to get lost a little bit more!”
