Lizzo has never been one to play it safe, but after boarding a jet in cutout thong leggings and stepping out in a PVC housecoat this week, it’s clear she’s taking her looks to the next level.

On April 12, the “Truth Hurts” singer was spotted outside of a Saturday Night Live dinner dressed almost entirely in orange. She wore an orange funnel neck top with exposed seams, coordinating flared leggings, and a matching bomber jacket. An orange mask, peach nails, and leather handbag with another orange-hued mask attached to it kept the theme going. (Call it traffic cone-orange chic.) To offset the tonal vibes, Lizzo finished her look with white sneakers.

While so much orange could easily overpower an outfit, the musician kept her silhouette simple and her materials cohesive—a smart way to let a color story speak for itself.

Lizzo is far from the only celebrity to embrace punchy brights this season: Zendaya, Keke Palmer, and Karlie Kloss have all recently been spotted in neon solids at some point this season. (Lizzo’s new shapewear line, Yitty, is also packed with single-color gems.)

If you haven’t had your own monochromatic moment yet, now is the perfect time to pile on as much color as you can handle. Whether you wear orange to the gym, a restaurant, or your office, don’t be afraid to add a few Lizzo-approved statement pieces to your spring wardrobe, below.
