Fashion’s biggest night is finally here, and it wouldn’t be the 2022 Met Gala without an appearance from Billie Eilish. The 20-year-old singer has cemented her place as a fashion icon over her past few years of fame, and her look at this year’s Met Gala is no different.

Eilish has been keeping us on our toes when it comes to red carpets this year, and on May 2 she showed out and showed up in a corseted gown, which is definitely a different side to her. On top, she wore a mint green boned corset with a gorgeous square neckline, embellished with a giant purple flower.  A creamy satin bustled skirt gave it that gilded glamour flair we were looking for, while green lacy sleeves (complete with thumb holes) and a ribbon choker gave it almost a modern e-girl element.

The ensemble was designed by Gucci, with who Eilish often works with, and all the fabrics are recycled, so the look is snatched and sustainable. As far as beauty goes, she kept the makeup pretty natural, with just a swipe of liner, and swept her hair into an era-appropriate updo, showcasing those amazing bangs.

Billie Eilish made her first Met Gala appearance in 2021, where she turned heads dressed as a modern Marilyn Monroe. She ditched her usual oversized silhouette for a peach corseted Osacar De La Renta gown with a massive train. Her hair, which was platinum at the time, was styled into a glam Old Hollywood bob.
