Five months after Chrishell Stause split from her Selling Sunset costar Jason Oppenheim, the reality star is in a new relationship. On Thursday, May 5, Stause was photographed kissing Australian singer G Flip at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
Stause confirmed their relationship during the pre-taped reunion episode of Selling Sunset season 5, which dropped on Netflix on May 6. “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by they/them,” Stause told episode host Tan France, per People. “And they are an extremely talented musician.”
According to the reality star, the pair hit it off when Stause, 40, was cast in one of the 27-year-old’s music videos. “It started because I was just going to be in their video. It’s about this chaotic love story,” Stause said. “I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let’s do that.”
She added, “It was so much fun, we had such a blast. Not everyone’s going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great. I think it’s amazing, the song is amazing.”
On May 6, G Flip shared BTS shots from their music video for “GET ME OUTTA HERE,” which drops on May 13. Chrishell Stause commented on the post, “I feel stifled in my comments now😆countdown is on!🔥.”
Though it’s unclear when Stause and G Flip first got together, a source tells People that the singer moved into the reality star’s Los Angeles home. Back in April, Stause told Kelly Clarkson she sold her wedding ring from her ex-husband, This Is Us star Justin Hartley, to help pay for the house. The former couple was married from 2017 to 2019.
